FAQs
EZ Appliance Repair
How does your no-service-charge with repair policy work?
Our no-service-charge policy operates as follows: initially, there is a service charge for setting up an appointment. During the visit, our technician diagnoses the issue, determines a solution, and provides an exact quote for parts and repair costs. If you decide to proceed with the repair, the service charge is waived, and you only pay the quoted repair price. We offer a two-year warranty on parts and labor. If you choose not to repair immediately, only the service charge applies. Should you decide to repair within 30 days, the service charge is deducted from the original quote. For more details, please contact us.Should I repair or replace my appliance?
The decision to repair or replace an appliance depends on various factors. While any appliance can be repaired, it's important to consider if it's financially prudent. Appliances typically last between 10 to 30 years, varying by make and model. Our technicians provide honest, expert opinions on whether repair or replacement is more cost-effective. If repair is the best option, our team is ready to assist you.How do you charge?
We implement a flat rate pricing system for each job. This approach ensures fairness, as technician speed can vary. Our pricing is based on the national appliance major price guide book, which is approved by manufacturers to maintain uniform pricing across the country. This method guarantees consistent pricing regardless of the technician's efficiency. For specific pricing information, please contact us to discuss your appliance repair needs. How long is your warranty?
Our warranty covers parts and labor for one year from the original repair date. For two years following the repair, we provide necessary adjustments, corrections, or parts replacement at no additional cost, unless otherwise specified on the invoice. Within the first 30 days after repair completion, no service or trip charges apply. After this period, standard trip charges will be incurred. Can you tell me what's wrong with my appliance and what it costs to fix it over the phone?
Accurate diagnosis of appliance issues cannot be performed over the phone. Attempting to do so would be speculative, as simple problems like a broken wire could present symptoms similar to more complex issues such as faulty control boards or motors. For a precise diagnosis and cost estimate, an in-person inspection by our technician is necessary. Please contact us to schedule an on-site evaluation. Why do some appliances cost more to fix than others?
Repair costs vary among appliances due to several factors. High-end models often require more specialized knowledge and skills to repair. Modern appliances increasingly incorporate complex electronics, necessitating expertise in both mechanical and electronic systems. This combination of specialized knowledge and advanced technology can contribute to higher repair costs for certain appliances. A mold-like odor in your dishwasher often indicates moisture accumulation in inaccessible areas. This can result from trapped humidity, residue buildup, or drainage issues, particularly in high-efficiency or front-loading models. While DIY cleaning methods may seem appealing, persistent odors typically signify underlying mechanical or drainage problems requiring expert evaluation. Our technicians perform in-depth inspections to determine if the odor stems from gasket deterioration, ventilation issues, detergent reactions, or internal component failures. We then implement appropriate remediation strategies. This professional approach not only eliminates the immediate odor issue but also enhances equipment longevity and operational efficiency. By utilizing our specialized appliance repair services, you ensure a thorough resolution to the problem and maintain a clean, odor-free washing environment.
